Ahh August. It's the time of the year where everyone gathers together for a good time and while you slurp the juicy sashimi, let the fireworks burst in all its glory, allowing you to soak in its energy as well. Tell the silliest jokes to your friends and family, get cosy with your partner or simply give yourself a little celebration and make a toast when the fireworks captivate you with its wonder.

休憩時間は隣のUSJ(Universal Studio of Japan)でスパイダーマンを乗りましょう!
(from left) Takoyaki museum, takoyaki, takoyaki!
Heaven is here on earth! If you're from Osaka, not to mention Japan, you'll know this! This oh-so-delicious food called "octopus balls" in english, melts in your mouth (not in your hand), faster than an ice-cream! Of course when we talk about takoyaki, there's no other place more famous than Osaka for it! Moreover, all the best takoyaki shops in the Kansai region gather for you, the honorary guest. If you can go simple (without any sauce), the shop on the extreme left of the museum's entrance will do the trick! There are also soup-based, humongous octopus-based, crispy ones and so on. Something for everyone! During your break from eating all that yummy takoyaki, why not head to the Universal Studio of Japan (just next door) and take a ride on the hugely popular Spiderman:D
